Qalipu Pretendian Nation

  Many members of the media in Newfoundland have family members with Indian Status.  Many people who have powerful jobs in the media are Qalipus.  Qalipus have not only infiltrated media, they have infiltrated other important institutions, universities, arts organizations, corporations, political jobs and they rise to the top.     I know of Qalipus running Indigenous organizations.  They get hired and many have unions, so once exposed, many are not fired.  This is a common occurrence.   The white federal government representatives refused to answer my questions about the Qalipu Nation.  It is for all of these reasons that us grassroots people have to speak out wherever we find a Qalipu!    This is is a unique situation in Canada because the Qalipu Nation is federally recognized.  The Assembly of First Nations has not answered my questions either.  They too have signed up the Qalipu Nation as a member nation.  The...

 What can be done? The most important thing for ALL Canadians is to expose them. Do not hire them. Do not let them teach or write. Do not let them take up Native spaces. Do not publish their writing or give them grants for anything Indigenous. Just because the white Federal Government of Canada says they are Indigenous, that doesn't mean the Indigenous community accepts them. We do not. Write letters and make posts on social media Tell everyone! Share this information! Share memes and videos. The more awareness created, the more change will come! We need to cancel the Qalipu Pretendian Nation!

  INNU AND INUIT OF LABRADOR 3,000 INNU 6,500 INUIT MI'KMAQ of CONNE RIVER or MIAWPUKEK 3,000 QALIPU MI'KMAQ WITH INDIAN STATUS 23,000 QALIPU SELF-IDENTIFYING 75,000+ THESE STATS DEMONSTRATE WHAT? That the Qalipu pretendians are overtaking the Indigenous community in Newfoundland.  There are Inuit and Innu in Newfoundland who moved from Labrador. But their voices are being drowned out by Qalipu pretendians.  Though the Mi'kmaq Nation does not formally accept the Qalipu Pretendian Nation-they have been somewhat normalizing relations with them and they will be overtaken by these white settlers. The white Qalipu pretendians are taking over Native spaces in many places and committing Indigenous genocide by their actions. They will tell you they are "reconnecting"- they are not.  They are just really white people.

 

  M YTH 1: I have an Indigenous ancestor in 1600s. That makes me Indigenous. In order for anyone to claim an Indigenous identity, you need a community to claim you. Being Indigenous is not something you can choose one day. If you have one ancestor from the 1600s that was Indigenous, that does not make you Indigenous. MYTH 2: Newfoundland and Labrador had no residential schools. Labrador had residential schools. In fact, Inuit and Innu were put in residential schools. They had no choice but to attend. MYTH 3: Qalipus do not know their culture because of colonization. Colonization is what brought white settlers to Newfoundland and Labrador and Canada, for that matter. But the reason a Qalipu does not know their own culture is because they are white settlers. A very small minority has a minute amount of Mi'kmaq DNA. But it isn't just DNA that makes one Indigenous. This encourages white Newfoundlanders to race shift via cosplaying as a Mi'kmaq person.  In the 70s and 80s, there were no pow wows in Newfoundland. Now there are pow wows all over the place-because the Federal Government tied getting Indian Status for these white Newfoundlanders-to "performing as a Mi'kmaq" ie. go to a pow wow, paint a Native picture, make some crafts-- no one was vetted for actual Indigenous ancestry. This system was intended to remedy the Stephen Harper system of Self ID.

  I called Indigenous Services Canada to try to get a Qalipu Indian Status card A conversation with a representative from the Qalipu First Nation- She admits they are white people   Inquiring about getting Indian Status with Qalipu First Nation (need not in fact, be Mi'kmaq, as confirmed by the rep) Qalipu First Nation is not accepting Indian Status Applications right now

For Indian Status?  Under Justin Trudeau, a unique points system was developed to assign Indian Status to white Newfoundlanders. This system was to remedy the Stephen Harper system of self-identification where applicants merely had to submit a family tree and an application and demonstrate they self identified as Indigenous. The Harper system requested they need only identify a First Nations ancestor from before 1949.  But from my research, it appears that in many cases, no one checked if the identified First Nations ancestor was even First Nations for all these applicants.   White Newfoundlande...
