For Indian Status?  Under Justin Trudeau, a unique points system was developed to assign Indian Status to white Newfoundlanders. This system was to remedy the Stephen Harper system of self-identification where applicants merely had to submit a family tree and an application and demonstrate they self identified as Indigenous.
