Calvin White is 1/64 Mikmaq

 Calvin White is often called upon to be a spokesperson for Mikmaqs of Newfoundland. But people promoting him do not know that his last Mikmaq ancestor was Marie Ann L'Officiale in the 1700s. She was half Mikmaq. That makes Calvin 1/64 Mikmaq. Many people inside the Native community complain about blood quantum being a tool used  by the Christian colonizers to disappear Natives. But in this case, it is instructive to demonstrate how not Mikmaq White is.

Many of White's ancestors were French who went to Newfoundland from the USA.  You never hear White talk about that why? Because he wants to reap the rewards of pretendianing.

It is time for all those reporting on White and other Qalipus to question their legitimacy. Mikmaqs in Nova Scotia have since the early 1970s, as documented by MicMac News.
